Spring Civil Discourse Series to start with discussion on climate change, environment

The university’s Civic Discourse Series –- designed to provide dialogue around current issues –- will return for the spring semester with a discussion on climate change and the environment from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, in 114 Marano Campus Center.

The discussion will feature faculty panelists Lisa Glidden (Politics), Matthew McLesky (Sociology), JR Slosson (Atmospheric and Geological Studies) and Jarrod Hadadorn (Cinema and Screen Studies). 

Hot cocoa bar fundraiser to support health honorary society

Writing Center announces spring activities

During the spring 2025 semester, the Writing Center will offer services including a new writing group for students, workshops and more.

The center is excited to coordinate a new writing group for students called Safe Space for Writers. This writing group will meet bi-weekly (on Wednesdays and Fridays) in the Writing Center and is open to all students. Those looking for a quiet place to work on writing projects are more than welcome to join.

Office of Learning Services is open, ready to help

The Office of Learning Services is open for the semester on the first floor of Penfield Library, offering free tutoring services to all students.

Peer tutors are available to offer assistance in various subjects, such as STEM, humanities, business, social sciences, language, and other courses.
