The Adult Student Assisance Programs (ASAP) series continues with a session featuring representatives from the Career Services and EXCEL: Experiential Courses and Engaged Learning offices at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.

The Children’s Center of Oswego, located on the SUNY Oswego campus, recently earned its National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation.

The program was recognized among the top in the nation by earning this accreditation from the world's largest organization working on behalf of young children.

The inaugural Flags of Meaning exploration event will discuss the Pride Flag at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in 114 Marano Campus Center (next to the Hearth Lounge).

Organizers described the event as "the first in a series to explore flags and banners, what they tell the world about us, what they tell us about ourselves, and how they inspire, unite or divide us."

Part two of the Campus Technology Services (CTS) National Cybersecurity Awareness Month series covers multi-factor authentication (MFA), how it protects your accounts and how to be safe using it.

The annul Pink the Rink women’s hockey game will see the Lakers host the London Devilettes from Ontario at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at  6 p.m. 

The campus State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) will sponsor multiple events for the month of October, in the interest of the campus and community. 

SEFA will promote such activities as the Pink the Rink women’s hockey game, Pink Day and their annual bake sale. 

The Pink the Rink women’s hockey game vs. the London Devilettes will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 15, in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall as a way to promote breast cancer awareness through athletics. 

The Hall Newman Center’s Fall 2022 Silent Auction is live with a variety of items available with bidding running through Oct. 19.

The Hall Newman Center website showcases auction items, and participants can order tickets to bid on the items with a $1 donation per ticket.  

Campus Recreation will host a cruise around campus for a cause during the annual Great Pumpkin 5K Run or Walk starting at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.

Participants can register online or use same-day registration beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center food and activity court. Entry fee is $5 per person, payable on the day of the race.
