Career Services, PRSSA to present resume/LinkedIn workshop today

The university's Office of Career Services and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) student organization will offer a workshop on resumes and LinkedIn profiles at 7 p.m. today (Oct. 23) in 142 Marano Campus Center.

Attendees will learn how to improve and maximize their resume and LinkedIn presence. This session will answer questions and provide personalized feedback on personal resume and LinkedIn pages.

Registration open for Winter Session’s undergraduate, graduate offerings

Registration is now open for SUNY Oswego’s online Winter Session, with more than 100 courses in a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate disciplines.

Enrolling in winter courses provides students with numerous benefits. It allows them to fulfill academic requirements, potentially speeding up degree completion and qualifying for the Graduation Return On Investment program. 

Observing LGBTQIA2+ History Month

Survey says: Health Services earns high ratings

Mary Walker Health Center’s Health Services recently received good news in survey results provided by the American College Health Association (ACHA).

SUNY Oswego’s Health Services was one of 39 schools participating in the Patient Satisfaction Assessment Service (PSAS) survey for the fall 2022 to spring 2023 academic year.

SEFA thinking pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The university’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) committee plans fundraisers connecting with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, benefiting the Oswego County Opportunities Cancer Services program.

Activities include a pink apparel sale throughout the month, a Pink the Rink women’s hockey game on Saturday, Oct. 21, and Pink Day on Friday, Oct. 27.

Fall Internship Fair on Wednesday provides many opportunities

The Fall 2023 In-person Internship Fair, 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, in Marano Campus Center's Swetman Gym, will feature more than 100 companies and organizations with opportunities for all majors.

As of last week, more than 150 representatives of local, regional and national partners were confirmed, including more than 50 alumni -- with more companies and organizations coming on board on a daily basis.

The Office of Career Services said that more than 600 students attended last year's event.
