University Police will team up with the university's State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign for this year's No Shave November campaign to raise funds for Blessings in a Backpack.

This local charity supplies food to over 400 children in the Oswego School District for the entire school year. The donations the department collects will help boost their funding to supply more food to more children in the county.

The university invites all students to be the stars of our upcoming marketing material. On Thursday, Nov. 2, photographers will capture captivating moments across the picturesque campus for promotional photos — and we would love to see Oswego students take center stage.

A reception updating SUNY Oswego's Flags of Nations display will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, in 132 Marano Campus Center (auditorium).

This ceremony recognizes the addition of flags representing the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the countries of Chile, Uganda, Kazakhstan and Uruguay to this display.

Welcoming remarks in the auditorium will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to view the updated flag display.

On Friday, Nov. 3, from 7:50 to 8 a.m., the SUNY hosting provider will perform login maintenance. There may be a brief momentary login interruption for these services. These services include but are not limited to:

Does the idea of finding sources for your class assignment make you shiver? Do you feel overwhelmed, intimidated, or downright frightened about starting on that final project?

The Office of Residential Life and Housing will offer the campus an opportunity to play an active role in selecting what furniture will grace common areas in the future.

The Furniture Fair -- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 -- will take place on the Marano Campus Center concourse and let people vote on future furnishings.

The News widget replaces the Announcement widget. This widget allows us to post important information concerning Brightspace without sending an email notification to all campus faculty, staff and students. 

SUNY Oswego President Peter Nwosu will host the next student drop-in session today -- Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 -- from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Rich ‘N’ Pour Cafe in Rich Hall.

All students are encouraged to drop in, say hello to President Nwosu, ask a question or discuss a topic important to you.

A Haunted Trail event will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight tonight (Oct. 27), hosted by the SUNY Oswego chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the Theatre Honors Society.

The event will take place at the Hidden Fields (right outside of The Village).
