Lunchtime Christian Meditation is open to all students, faculty and staff

Held later today  from noon to 1 p.m. in the Newman Center, and every Wednesday throughout the fall semester, Lunchtime Christian Meditation in the Catholic, Eucharistic tradition is open to all students, faculty and staff.

Lunchtime Christian Meditation is sponsored by The Newman Center, Dr. John F. Lalande, and a number of SUNY Oswego faculty, staff and students.

Faculty "Drop-Ins" with President Stanley kick off this Wednesday, Sept. 12

President Stanley will host her first drop-in with faculty this Wednesday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in the Chu Atrium, located in the Marano Campus Center. 

President Stanley hosts drop-in hours for SUNY Oswego faculty periodically throughout the acedemic year. Members of the faculty are invited to stop by and meet with her during this upcoming faculty drop-in.

STARTALK seeks reservations for Sept. 15 festival

Organizers of the STARTALK Mid-Autumn Festival, 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in 242 Marano Campus Center, seek RSVPs for the Chinese cultural celebration.

Participants can learn more about Chinese culture, try seasonal foods and fruits, and play with the Chinese yoyo and Jian zi at the free program. RSVPs are requested to startalkcny@gmail.com by Sept. 14.

Blackboard Learn support sessions offered to faculty

CTS and Extended Learning have teamed up to begin offering a series of one-hour Blackboard Learn faculty support sessions this week. Signups available for van driver training

SUNY Oswego policy requires student operators of the college-owned 12-passenger vans to be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and complete a driver training session. This includes students who have the responsibility of transporting persons in the vans for departmental purposes such as academic field trips, residence life programs, athletic contests and community service.

It is recommended, but not required, that faculty and staff complete the driver training prior to operating a 12-passenger van.
